Do you recall these? I don't either, but they remind me of tiny, square plastic letter beads that I've seen before. Here's the grown up version.

These fit Perfect on the Ball chain A & AA or the Pequeño a Mano chain. Also a great add on to any Regular Spring Ring or Clip 7.
